We are located in Independence, MO-Harry Truman’s choice of retirement city-and we offer whatever living style would benefit you the most. Plus, we think you should maintain your assets – we rent our apartments and require no “buy-in”.
Our community includes independent living, independent living with services, licensed residential care, short term rehabilitation services, 24 hour skilled nursing care, and a secure Alzheimer’s component. Pets are welcome to live in our Forest View Retirement Community, and are able to visit White Oak Living Center and Rosewood Health Center.
Those in independent living enjoy maintenance free living with friends and fellowship surrounding them. Studio, one and two bedroom apartments are available. Living in our independent areas provides priority access to residential care or skilled nursing services if needed.
Licensed residential care includes medication administration, housekeeping, laundry, and nursing staff on site 24 hours per day. One bedroom and studio apartments are offered, many with kitchenettes. Delicious meals with menu options are served in our lovely dining room.
For those who need temporary nursing care or therapy following a hospitalization, Rosewood Health Center offers post-hospital rehabilitation in our “Return to Independence” unit, featuring all private suites. If long term care is needed, both private and semi-private rooms that are fully furnished are available. Rosewood also includes a secure unit designed to meet the special needs of those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Four unique levels of care with specially trained staff are offered to meet the individual’s unique needs.
