The Villages of North Branch (ANZ) Nursing Home

The Villages of North Branch - The Next Generation of Senior Living, is an Ecumen senior community scheduled to open in July 2007. 

The Villages will consist of 51 assisted living apartments, 20 memory care studio apartments, 68 private and semi-private health care suites plus rehabilitation services including speech, occupational and physical therapy. 

Located at the center of The Villages' four neighborhoods, is a community town center.  Village Center, will include a coffee shop, general store, community room and chapel for multi-denominational services.  Village Center will be a gathering place where people will join for light dining, shopping, entertainment, wellness, educational programs and worship services. 

Based in Shoreview, Ecumen is Minnesota's largest non-profit provider of housing and services for older adults.  The name Ecumen comes from the word ecumenical, which is derived from the Greek word for home: "Oikos."  Our name underscores our promise to create "home" for the people we serve.  Ecumen is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). 

 

Amenities and Services

  • Community Town Center - Chapel, cafe, general store, community room, hair salon, guest apartment and an on-site medical clinic.
  • Assisted Living - We offer a diverse mix of affordable catered-living and healthcare services. There are 51 spacious one and two-bedroom apartments each with a full kitchen. Heated garage parking is also available.
  • Memory Care - Our memory care services will provide the right balance of independence and safety for individuals facing dementia. There of two households of 10 studio apartments each with a private bath and kitchenette.
  • Care & Rehabilitation Services - A variety of care levels including complex nursing, short-term rehabilitative and hospice care will be provided in two neighborhoods each divided into four separate households of 17 suites: 60 private and 8 semi-private rooms all with private bathrooms. Each household will have a dining room, large country kitchen, living room, family room, spa and sunrooms.
